People who tend to take X seriously should check out her profile, in which she lists her Interests and Hobbies as "Destroying Earth lifeforms".

X unfortunately sees the best use of her intelligence as throwing grenades into the SI water and watching the fish die.

I have learned that the best way to read her posts is to preface each one with the phrase: "This should be treated as lies posted for the purpose of playing games with peoples minds. The more misery I can create, the happier I am."

People who know X outside of SI have assured me that she really is, in real life, a nice person and that what she does here, in the words of the poet, she only does to annoy because she knows it teases. The intellectual equivalent of tearing the wings off flies and enjoying watching them suffer.

It's a shame that a person of such obvious intelligence should be so morally bankrupt and take such delight in destruction and damage. But when you consider that she has chosen to present herself here in the persona of an alien committed to death and destruction, it all hangs together. Those who have posted here for a while have gotten wise to her. Perhaps we have a duty to newcomers to help them understand her, too, rather than letting them waste their time discussing with someone who isn't interested in discussion but only in destruction.
