Well, PWER's problems will likely last as long as CSCO's inventory problems last...which should be a couple more quarters at least. But, a good proxy of when to get back into PWER is by watching how BRCM, PMCS, and AMCC trade, as they are all highly correlated to PWER since they have the same basic customers (namely CSCO). As for techs I like, I'm not afraid to do a little nibbling here with the Nasdaq currently at 2400. Frankly, I was very pleased with Greenspan's testimony that he thinks the economy is already beginning to show signs of a recovery, and was a little suprised the market traded down so much. What's likely to happen in the Nasdaq is some consolidation around these levels (which means a trading range a couple of hundred points wide), but I don't see us going below 2000 or anything. As such, as of yesterday, I started doing a little accumulating back into some of my favorite techs like JNPR, SEBL, CIEN, JDSU. I don't think now is such a bad time to get your feet wet in some of the higher-quality techs, and start building some long-term positions, especially if you were lucky enough to raise cash at much higher levels.
