Massive inputs are used every day to get things done. You don't have to be an engineer to understand that. Right now, the economic car is stalled, the engine is stopped. If the engine needs 100 Amps to start, you gotta give it at least that much...all in one punch...or remain stalled. So I do not know where you get the idea massive inputs are bad per se...got to overcome friction...then need to let it run and recharge the battery (by raising the rates)...
