A bit touchy aren't we? Sounds like I hit a sore spot. Don't you guys want to hear opposing views? The MSFT board had the pleasure of listening to JC rant on and on about free software and the death of the PC. Yeah, I'm an idiot. I'm not the one that thinks software should be free (just like online music right?). I'm not the one that has been sure (for the past how many years?) that the PC was going to dry up and blow away. Keep believing what you believe and watch MSFT continue to dominate the PC OS and applications market. Watch them take market share in the server market. Note that the total cost of IT (hardware, software and maintenance) is lower with the MSFT solution. Watch them enter the CRM and security (today) markets.
