OT Dave, I think you should be careful. It seems to me that HC limited his response to your "posting on SI at me(him)", not posting in general. It seems to be he was just telling you to back off or he would go back after you. Not that I am condoning what has occurred.

On the other hand, you publicly published a private message intended to be sent solely to you without the author's permission. That seems more of a "crime" than HC's actions. It may even be a civil offense of some sort. Even if it is not, it certainly makes me shutter to think someone would have the audacity to take a private message and publish it globally against the author's will. I am surprised SI doesn't have that ability somehow blocked.

You, who has on multiple occasions taken it upon yourself to tell others when you feel they have overstepped their bounds, should know better. I am not saying you didn't have the right to report to SI what you felt was an offense, but you took it over the line, imho. It just floors me that someone would even think of violating someone else's right to communicate privately, even if the communication is heated. It's just wrong.

Seconds Out.
