Surely you meant to say "the right/appropriate amount", as opposed to "massive", else you are describing what a technician would do, as opposed to what an engineer would do. Simple answers are tried by engineers, but only experimentally first, sub-component by sub-component, and never on single massively complicated systems that is expensive to fix.

In any case, interest rate and liquidity are medicines with limited utility, and beyond a point, as in the case of Japan, the potions do less than nothing. The markets are the way they are because we have been intravenously fed on these potions, whilst amused by CNBC and comforted by Abby Jo.

At this juncture, the dropping of interest rate and release of liquidity are not going to get Cisco's customers more money, from the bank, the capital market, the equity market or from Cisco itself. And these potions will not get the ex-Lucent burger flipper the loan to buy a second SUV. Transfusion is pointless after the patients have been taken out with a head shot.

The further, and clearly irresponsible release of such potions will alarm both the financial markets (due to irresponsibility) and the individuals (due to uncertainty) that there will only be second hand SUVs and switches trading.

You are correct, massive inputs are used everyday, causing untold amounts of damage. I believe the magic potions I listed in my earlier listing will be used, and aggressively as the desperation level increases, and yet they will do nothing good.

The market is doing what the market does because it is time to land. Keeping the tired bird in the sky through further rounds of mid-air refueling will end us in a massive kaboom.
