You may want to edit your registry. Microsoft has all kinds of warnings against this, but it really is not that difficult and sometimes is the only way to uninstall hardware or software.

JUST BE SURE TO MAKE A BACKUP COPY FIRST.

You just run a program called "regedit". Regedit gives you a way to make a backup copy. Then just search for HP references. If you are 2 million % sure you have sixteen backups, then you can go ahead and just delete all HP references.
