I disagree that the fundamentals haven't changed all that much. Check my reference to a Smart Money article that I posted on this board last April. It neatly sums up the reasons to buy WMI with a change in management and a plan to sell off their international assets to pay off debt. If nobody wants a power plant or refinery in their back yard, they also certainly won't want a waste dump. WMI is acting like a utility in uncertain times. Plus I really don't think that the chart looks that bad, (24 is important support) In 12/99 it was oversold. However, certain money managers, (Longleaf partners and Bill Miller) were actually buying more. That's what started my first purchase. I bought again when it retraced and formed, essentially, a double bottom.
