Given that they hired 2 investment bankers, one has to raise the probability of a takeover. Another possibility is that they may just be looking for a deep pocketed partner to get them through the development phase - e.g. Sell the European rights to PhenoSense; or some similar sort of financing.

They do have a superiour product. It's gaining popularity as the practitioners become better informed of the test's capabilities. It was quite encouraging to see sequential revenue growth resume. They have exciting opportunities for similar resistance testing in HIV A, B and C as well as oncology. Yet they don't have the financial ability to develop these opportunities on a timely basis.

The street seems to reward earnings, or more to the point, growth in earnings. Companies with excellent future prospects have become less attractive.

Whatever, my guess is we'll see the answer within 2 Qs.

Ian.
