DS The prophet is dead. Long live the prophecy.
I have often thought over the past 18 months that we collectively have given much more thought to questions about G Gaming then GM and pals did in writing TFM. In these past 39000 messages has been countless hours of thought, study, discussion, thinking and rethinking of how to play the GGame. I believe that GM gave us a wonderful starting document, much as our Nations founders gave us a wonderful document in our Constitution. However, just as the Constitution authors could not address or conceive of such a thing as an AK-47 being used in a classroom GM was not able to address all of the questions that have come to be discussed on this board. In both cases we were given a fine document to begin with. It is up to us to take it, learn from it, and move forward, learning as we go, knowing that we have a firm foundation but not the answer to all questions.
We are now beginning our third year as a small band of students of the game. Our leaders have done a fine job, have been called elders and given honorary titles as such, along with many thanks. All have contributed, some by just being examples of how not to behave. All who have passed this way and stayed to learn are better off for the time spent here. Year two was a trying time, as much as year one was an exciting time. What year 3 brings continues to be up to each of us, and of course, to Mr. Fickle Market. Let's face it together, with TRFM by our side, and Uncle Frank at the helm.
