Silver Stocks,Silver and XAU. by: star_tracker01 02/15/01 12:23 am EST Msg: 1736 of 1736 messages.yahoo.com Now here is an interesting developement with silver stocks looking pretty good here technically here on a pull back at a higher low while silver is still in the 'drop' mode to $4.50 and the XAU is still in the 'slide' mode. If you look at SSRI chart below and also at CDE,HL which are similiar and didnt know they were silver stocks,one would be tempted to buy at this pull back point but with the silver and XAU situation I am unsure at this point. Many gold stocks have gotten toppy and broke down,hence the sliding XAU while the silvers have held better so far,wonder if they are going to slide also back down or hold here? The one thing positive here is that silver is making a spike down from which it will probably make a turn at some point...that would be the time to grab a silver stock IMO,little chancy right now,but maybe close. SSRI is the best PM chart I see,long term and short term,although I am still in some CDE and like it here also. They are holding about $86mil cash with a book value of $.95,have revenues and produce around 11 mil ozs,something SSRI doesnt do yet but look at SSRI's stronger technical action. Waiting!
