bambs, RE: I think the SEC needs to look into theses bullish stock hyping, long term buy calling posters that haunt these threads. I know that some posters are paid. I know that Gary/Phoenix would never answer clearly when I asked him if he recieved any compensation for posting on SI. You "know" that some posters are paid? How do you know this? It is certainly possible (even probable) that people have gotten paid to post on a small cap stock thread. But the odds that someone is paid to post on the CSCO board, bullish or bearish, is about zero. This board has zero effect on the price of CSCO, and no one with enough money to pay a poster to consider such an endeavour would be that foolish. If they were, they wouldn't have their money for long. "Paid bashers" are a bull myth. Please don't perpetuate that myth by maintaining something like Gary supposedly getting paid to post bullish information on CSCO. It does no one a service.
