I apologize for the confusion. Here is the deal - the rules clearly state that the "overall" percentage determines the winner. I am using the percentage as calculated by the SI portfolio to determine the winner. I realize that this conflicts with the fact that we had users choose a share amount instead of a dollar amount. However, the rule does say percentage. Please keep in mind this was our first stab at running a contest and I was faced with the challenge of creating a fun contest with some ease in administering - that's why we decided to use 100 shares. At the conclusion of the contest I will make the necessary changes for the next one. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
