A move in the A/D and the smaller stuff doesn't mean the "broad market has moved out of a protracted bear market". Indeed it is just more rotation until it all moves up in tandem.

More importantly, if you look at both the Russell and the Midcap index, you'll find that neither have had any sort of breakout. They've both been ranging since October.

I won't be stubborn if we move up from here but its all still pretty inconclusive.
