hi pw the stuff folder is a good plan. you're not alone in being unable to remember all of these commands and exactly where the spaces go. i've come to learn to look real close for those elusive spaces. what drives me crazy is when an instruction includes a command for me to enter, and the command traverses two lines on the page. i never know if there's a space break in there or not. "Checking the folder, I re-discover some neat stuff" amen to that. sometimes it can be like a kid in a candy store. and the urge to add more goodies to the folder can be strong. setting tough standards in that regard is fun.... only the most useful or coolest tweaks or sites get added in. i've started a great win2000 forums folder that serves as my 'go to' spot when this os gives me pause for cause. "I forgot where I put my Stuff I Can't Remember folder" what about a new folder called directions :) mark
