Hugh said,"wouldn't it be something if AXC has signed contracts with all or most of the big drive players, but because of the non-disclosure of the competitors no one knew it only AXC knew." Thats actually not only possable, but pretty damn smart!! Would it (from Ampex's standpoint) be better to try and sign others than Maxtor by saying,"You'd better do it because your competition already has!" Or, keep your mouth shut about already being in bed with other drive competitors? If Seagate knew that WDC was going to use KM then Seagate might intinionally not sign KM and try to find another way of getting that performance just so they can market their drive as being different and better.

Also, something else for us to remember on this thread is that NOBODY LOVES AXC LIKE WE DO. Do you really think these drive makers will jump up and down and say were using KM!! (Wouldn't that be nice) The sad truth probably is that these drive companies will market the Hell out of them selves and their new drives and never mention AXC. However, once the drives are on the shelves for the public to buy, Ampex can jump up and down scream and shout. Thats what I'll be doing. If this stock hits 20 I'll be running naked down my street!!!

I really believe that Hugh and Glenn Perry have hit the nail on the head with this one.
GO AMPEX!!!
