Intel could probably have put 3 Piii cores on a die the size of the P4, if they came up with a nice shared L2 cache. But then, they wouldn't have that NetBurst(TM) technology to flog. Somewhat related, did you ever hear any scuttlebutt on what the famous "Jackson Technology" actually was? -Win
