Registry Magic Demonstrates First Ever Bluetooth Hotel Guest Services with Ericsson at the Holiday Inn Wall Street
Companies to highlight innovation in new Bluetooth technology
BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 15, 2001-- Registry Magic, Inc. (Nasdaq:RMAG - news) will display the hospitality industry's first ever demonstration of hotel guest services using Bluetooth wireless technology at the Holiday Inn Wall Street on February 20th , 2001.

Using Registry Magic's Consumer Payment Network, guests will have the ability to check in and out, make payments at in-house restaurants, secure access to their rooms, and utilize the Internet, using Bluetooth wireless technology. Registry Magic's patented, proprietary software and hardware, coupled with Ericsson's Bluetooth R520m mobile phone and access point technology, will enable guests to significantly enhance the convenience, security and speed of their customer experience.

The opening of the Bluetooth services in the Hotel is scheduled to take place in conjunction with the Internet World Wireless show on February 21th - 23rd, 2001. Registry Magic will also be displaying its applications in Ericsson's booth at the show.

Special demonstrations to the media will be conducted on February 20th, 2001, at the Holiday Inn Wall Street. Guests are invited to use the Bluetooth services at the Hotel beginning February 21st , 2001. These guests will be provided with Bluetooth devices during check-in.

In addition, the Holiday Inn Wall Street opening will promote use of the Registry Magic Consumer Payment Network. The Network enables any mobile phone with Bluetooth capabilities to become a ``one-stop'' device with which to perform everyday consumer interactions such as conducting purchases, inter-person communication, and identity validation. The Consumer Payment Network and its associated technologies will allow the replacement of many of the types of cards found in a wallet, such as credit cards, loyalty cards, and identification cards.
