Kenneth, How is it I get the distinct impression of sour grapes here. Ciena is kicking Nortel's butt big time. Nortel has just announced that they are implementing "open systems" solutions in order to head off the Ciena open systems threat. Ciena leads the market in DWDM and optical switching in technology, and market share. You've seen the numbers. I've presented them numerous times. What more does it take? How much of a die hard are you, anyway? And yes, Ciena does offer and end-to-end solution. BTW, where is Nortel's optical switch? They don't have one. The XROS? Give me a break. If you want to see a fork lift upgrade, go to Ciena's web site and look at the photos of the the CoreDirector and the comparable photos of the SONET (Nortel) equipment. QED.
