Hi all; Re DDR vs RDRAM as the next mainstream memory... What experiences are companies hiring, DDR or RDRAM??? I used google.com to search for employment opportunities for DDR and RDRAM engineers. Now the problem with google is that some of the hits are going to be obsolete, but since DDR is younger than RDRAM, this will show up as higher RDRAM numbers than the actual current condition. Nevertheless, DDR kicked butt:
Employers are definitely looking for DDR:
"RDRAM employment engineer"      35
"DDR employment engineer"       419
"DDR SDRAM employment engineer"  49
"DDR DRAM employment engineer"   57
"SDRAM employment engineer"     277

Employee job experience is tilted towards DDR, but not as strongly:
"SDRAM resume"               10,800

"DRDRAM resume"                  25
