I would be cautious about drawing an inference that all carriers or even most carriers will tear out their SONET networks and replace them with Ciena's product. I have studied this area long enough to know that things are not that simple. I really do not believe that Ciena is taking market share from Nortel. The next Dell'Oro report in March should be interesting. Ciena had a very good past quarter but so did Nortel.
