Joe: Read the whole article carefully. I am by no means suggesting that HARBINGER is shorting the stock. What the article suggests is that stock held in street name even though it may not qualify (as ALAN) for legal shorting may find a way to shorters not subject to the rules, ie Illegal Shorting. So as a remedy the article suggests that any and all shareholders that can must take the shares out of street name by obtaining stock certificates thereby eliminating their availability for shorting. This particuarily applies to very large shareholders!!
