What do you make of the following? I know you guys have delved deeper into this than I. Could this software be a competing product? Or does this news indicate an opportunity for additional scanner sales in the Library systems.
We do know that the SCNG has "work in progress" at the Library of Congress. And this announcement mentions the opening of "On-Line Map Archive" there on June 9th. And that this is a componet of the "National Digital Library."
So, what's the connection?
At any rate, the Library of Congress is making digital map images available for the first time on June 9th. That should focus interest on this little company of ours. Jerry

SEATTLE, June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Seattle-based LizardTech, a successful spin out from Los Alamos National Laboratory, announced the release of its Multi-Resolution Seamless Image Database (MrSID) technology.
