I've been keeping PAC on my radar.... Haven't bought any yet, though.

So, any new special situations?

I'm following (and holding) AB. Are you familiar with the minority shareholders' fight against Quebec? Years ago, Quebec bought out the majority shareholder but didn't extend the offer to the minority shareholders like they promised. Minority shareholders are fighting this in court, trying to get the OSC to right the wrong. A few months ago, the Supreme Court heard the case, and a decision is expected soon. If this goes in our favour, the shares will be worth something like $150-200 each. They are trading for about $18. If the decision is against us, we can basically start over by getting the QSC to hold a hearing (a Quebec court has already ruled that the QSC must hear the case if the Ontario action doesn't work out). This is speculative, but I support the cause, and the pay-off, if it works out, is huge.

I'm following another somewhat similar situation, but I'm not through taking my position. When I am, I'll share that one too.
