I just don't understand how Roth could purchase NT stock recently knowing this would happen. I did not know this and yes, it doesn't make sense. Unless he had some sort of a commitment-to-purchase in place that he could not change because of inside info, it means he was surprised. This is even worse. In fact, it leads me to wonder if the Level 3 news wasn't a last minute surprise to them. Didn't that recent article in Lightreading which speculated on the L3 move to CD also say it would hurt NT? I think I have to start listening to the LR folks more closely. I will let you know what i find out.
