Elmo, acctually carriers is US (Europe and Asia strong as idicated by NT,CSCO and ALA. You are old busher of fixed connections like DSL and optics and big fun of wireless) are filling existing networks with DWDM metro and DSL+ATM. And this is why CIEN is doing well and ALA in US is doing well. Many carries in US indicated that connectiong customers (acsess part like DSL) is now priority. Now you can argue with me , but the fact of the matter is ALA is on track with Q1 as posted earlier. Another point is old voice switching in Europe is OK for the next 12-18 months and you employer Siemens is much bigger player in this filed then ALA. ALA is migrating its customers to packer nets Soft switch + ATM/SS7 where Siemens have nosolution and will suffer soon. ZO
