Michael, I've found that Lightreading is a treasure chest of information, most of it accurate and presented well. Some of their speculation has proven out, ie a Level 3 CoreDirector win, merger rumors, Lucent's screw ups etc. Furthermore, the Lightreading staff is head and shoulders above any other publication when it comes to technical competance. They understand the difference between legacy SONET equipment and DWDM. They also know the difference between switch gear and transmission equipment. How many journalists have an entre into the test facilities of major telecommunications companies, and how many would recoginize a CoreDirector if they saw one. This says it all. Jack
