My conseco analogy is extreme, I'll admit. At least you didn't invoke Priceline again <g>. You can't assume that the drop was due to the acq news. There' no way to know if any of it was. The mkt has not exactly been rosy of late. The Naz hasn't, to be sure, but the Dow is actually up about 6% since the GE/HON merger announcement. Anyway, I'm only long this as a hedge against some garbagy tech shorts, so I think I'm well-placed.
