Hmmm..I hope not much.

All of 40 shares. You'll be happy to know that even if AMZN drops to nuthin' my investment in them will have been net profitable -- thanks to slight encouragement from my brother, I sold a third of my shares at 186 (93 after the last split), which is very close to the high. The proceeds helped a bit with the cost of the car which replaced a Ford POS. So I have a decent, fuel-efficient car now.

As for Amazon, they have enough customers so the ball is in their court -- they can still become the Walmart of the web, in due time. Tough part for them is appealing to the common customer, the type which shops Walmart but doesn't shop Amazon or any other web site. Amazon already has higher-end customers, but there aren't enough of those to alone achieve $100B by 2010 or 2012.
