both inflation and deflation are deadly for financials...i keep pointing out that the banks reserve to assets ratios and loan loss reserve to asset ratios have hit multi year lows late last year, at exactly the wrong moment...this means bank earnings will come under increasing pressure as loan defaults mount.

WS is ignoring reality...just as it did with the semis last summer.
