What is your next dumb comment? Intel promised a 1.7GHz chip in Q1, a 2.0GHz chip in Q2, and >2.0GHz in Q3 commencing with the 0.13 micron Northwood product. It appears that Intel will be able to deliver the 1.7GHz chip this quarter. Therefore, to alter your words, "it appears that P4 IS ramping the way Intel's management promised." I honestly don't think I'm missing your point. Your point is that you hate Intel. You hate everything Intel stands for and has accomplished. You don't believe that the P4 is a good design, and you seem to have an emotional need to bash both Intel and the P4 at every opportunity. You also seem to be furious because Intel has taken the MHz lead using what you view as "dirty tricks" and "smoke and mirrors." You believe AMD has a true technical lead for the first time in ages... if ever... and don't seem to have the ability to accommodate facts into your world view which contradict that. So what's your next knee-jerk reaction?
