These slippery slope arguments have no satisfactory solution, IMO. It is a
lot like defining where the beach is!


I imagine that science and technology will eventually make the argument moot and pregnancy will only occur when it is intended. Meanwhile, I guess we just keep on debating to a standoff and try to avoid a catastrophic effect until the white knight rides to the rescue.

Or we could distract the discussion to other alternatives to accomplishing the same objective. How about this one. We could sterilize all men after harvesting and freezing their sperm. Then we could dole out the frozen sperm on an as-needed basis. Sex would be just for fun and relationship building. Reproduction would be separate.

I'm sure others could come up with other problem solvers. There are probably many ways to avoid killing fetuses.
