I agree. The aftermath of the current bubble probably won't be anything like the 1930s. I expect a long, drawn-out recession. A bloodless devolution. Not a lot of kiddies starving in doorways.

Perhaps more like Japan these past 10 years. Which is to say: I am looking for DOW 5000 in 10 years. My expectations for the Naz are not so bullish.

Eric, please let me know when the Nikkei will recover to 39,000, adjusted for inflation. Think hard about the Nikkei and you may gain some clues as to our direction.
