Rich you as an individual can do everything you can to make this world a better place. You can fight for justice and freedom for all. If there are tax cuts you can donate that money 100% to the poor and 100% of it can get there rather than 80% of it going to bureaucrats. Liberals can also fund the abortion clinics in other parts of the world. No one will stop them. But you have to recognize that you do not own a monopoly on truth or on what is best for society.
Capitalism encourages self-interest some call it greed. Communism encourages sharing some call it slavery. Yet the by products of communism ended up in almost everyone sharing nothing. Still to have this wonderful state of affairs the wise the self assured statists killed hundreds of millions of people to end up with power because they were sure they were right.
Meanwhile in some cases out of greed capitalists created inventions and cured disease and created prosperity.
The inner city used to be poor but safe. People were close and the black family had a lower divorce rate than whites. Well fare destroyed that. Make no mistake you don't have a monopoly of concern for the poor nor do you have a monopoly on what is needed for the poor.
Until liberals stop claiming the moral authority to be the only ones who know what is best we are in trouble as a nation. Indeed the failed school system today is 90 % a result of failed liberal policies. It's time to consider letting other people try to improve things. I asked you if you had ever changed your mind because I once thought like you did. I suggest you read Horowitz book "The Radical Son". It shows his journey from a college radical leader and member of the black panther party to a conservative.
