Mike, one quibble I have with you. BETM cannot expand outside
Nevada in the US because of the Federal ban on sports wagering.
The only other state grandfathered by the law was Oregon which
has sports as part of its state lottery. NJ had a chance to vote
to legalize sports betting but they did not do it. I doubt there
is any chance of modifying the federal law. All the major sports
leagues lobbied for it and if anything we will get an anti-casino backlash
in this country before we get support for more forms of gambling.
