I'll give you eight years of Clinton/Gore prosperity if you grant that
much of it came from the Republican Congress elected in '94. If
you map the economy from '92-'00, you will see that GDP was flat
from '92-'94, then the Republicans took over, passed some tax cuts,
and the economy took off.

The current troubles are just blowing off steam from the speculative
period caused by the Internet (something AlGore invented).
