Discussion will be civil here, Karen, I think I can guarantee that.

I am not sure people want a stalemate. I think what they really want is the opportunity to "get" the people they don't like. So many of the posters just wait, until some snippet comes along they think they can pounce on and turn to their advantage. But since they are only looking for the helpful snippet- there isn't any real dialog going on. I think Constant Reader was absolutely right about that- almost all monologues. But then I would agree with CR- he is part of the clump I identify with.
