PAY THE FRIGGIN DEBT DOWN PLEASE ( you morons)

The problem (in my opinion of course) is:
1) Pay the debt down too quick and you take too much out of the economy too soon (I agree the debt should be taken down) and cause a recession (and there goes the surplus).
2) If we do run a 4 to 6 trillion surplus (lets not quibble on the inaccuracies of the forecasts) and leave it to congress it will be spent on government programs. I think individuals and companies do a better job of spending their own money. We shouldn't over fund the government.

Imagine if we had a fiscally responsible electorate. Since they always buy votes that thought is just a pipe dream.

So how is Texas anyway?
