Please explain how the death tax prevents "the poor from moving up" (not that you would care), when only the richest 2% of individual estates pay any amount of inheritance taxes! And if 120 millionaires get their way on this, the only thing THAT proves is that at least there are some people left in this land who don't always choose their own economic interests over the interests of our country... _____________________ Dishonest statists like you talk about multi-zillionaires even as they pick the pockets of the middle class. An old trick you learned from magicians - distract the audience's attention from the hand with the dollar in it. Actually the death tax is all about preventing the poor from moving up. Towards that goal it's a very effective tool . As to preventing an aristocracy, if 120 millionaires have their way in this matter, I think we can say the death tax has been a failure preventing that.
