2.5G and 3G have been talked about for two years, true. But they are not late. They were never promised before the second half of 2001 (for 2.5G). As for Metricom, it has been more talk and hype than substance. I don't think spending hundreds of millions of dollars and having LESS THAN 50,000 SUBSCRIBERS NATIONWIDE is anything of substance. If the product really is good (it might be) than the failure must be one of management incompetence. I try to avoid owning companies run by idiots. Idiots tend to destroy shareholder wealth. You can't deny that there is a lot of failure at Metricom. The stock price is measuring the failure. Metricom has talked the talk but they have NOT walked the walk. That is a fact. What is your prediction for total nationwide paying subscribers on March 31st?
