I believe it comes out around March. I remember the sticker shock from last year's assessment which almost doubled the property tax for the house in Herndon/Sterling. The house three doors down sold last Spring for almost 50 pct more than assessed value. The next door neighbor received unsolicited bids for her house at 30% above the assessed value. The house across the street that went on the market a month ago went to contract in two or three weeks.
