One solution is to spend a LOT more money on contraceptives and contraceptive education. Prolifers ought to be handing condoms out like candy in areas where abortion rates are very high. But since they have all that morality baggage they can't do that.

Education and access to contraception are the very best ways to prevent abortion. And I don't just mean education about sexual matters- I mean that well educated people are less likely to make the mistakes that lead to unwanted pregnancies. But the same people who are prolife are frequently against spending more on public education- and let me tell you, it IS about money.
