Just got this on the StockCharts.com newsletter: P&F NYSE Bullish Percent Index The NYSE Bullish Percent Index is one of the best market breadth indicators available anywhere and now it is available for free at StockCharts. It is calculated by finding all of the stocks on the NYSE that have bullish P&F chart patterns and dividing that number by the total number of stocks in the NYSE. Plotting these values over time yields a chart showing just how healthy the stock market is at any given point in time. You can chart this indicator either in P&F form or as a SharpChart - the symbol is $BPNYA.
