But if the rest of the world share was very small, where would the money come from to buy Intel products and make them the major share?

That's my point. Exponential growth rates can only last for so long before they radically slow down.

If I came back from the future, and if I told you that one of these 2 companies (Intel or AMD) is going to grow for next 15 years at the rate Intel grew for last 15 years, which one do you think it would be?
