I am sorry but if it were my child and I was medically informed like the mom, NOBODY could keep me from taking my child to Sick Kids. Even if I was not informed, I would take the child myself. There is more here than meets the eye and it makes for sensational storytelling.
JMO I am sorry this had to happen to this family.
