John and Iceburg,

I have never actually had any shares called in by JB Online. I also talked to a broker I had at Merril Lynch (I was using them for IPO's and shorts I simply couldn't find anywhere else). The ML guy said he never called in anyones shares. They always find them somewhere else I guesss.

My response to your broker if they want to call in shares is to tell them to get them from someone else. This may sound a little strange, but if you trade somewhat frequently as some short sellers do, they should accomadate you. Also Yes calling 2.5% or twenty shares is almost ludicrious (sp). The only way I could see them do this if they were taking shares from everyone at the company equally???

PS I have met with one of the partners of Datek. When I ask him about finding hard to get shares, he always tells me he has them. I have yet to trade with them, but I have opened an account. I want to check the brokerage house boards to see what people have to say about them before I actually deposit money.
