The Web portal and high-speed Internet provider is also exploring the idea of offering "premium services," such as paid video-game subscriptions, which could be separate from an end-user's Internet access but would feed directly onto a PC desktop, Mr. McEachen said in an interview. I said they should do this 2-3 years ago. Free net services will need to be just a means to an end if the net wants to prosper. These premium services could ultimately be a great source of income if done right. The problem is, ATHM has not done much "right" in the past. Why ruin a bad track record!
