Paul, AMD had a good solid year with the AthWiper in mid 1999 - to mid 2000 while Intel foundered - but since then, Intel seems to have righted the ship while AMD is listing badly. We were advised by people supposedly in the know to be very afraid. We were advised that AMD would be dead by now. Killed by P4, Itanium and Timna, some even mentioned that AMD will be drowned by the flood of Coppermines. Joe
