Speaking of Maria, I got a huge laugh at a newsstand a few weeks ago. Her hubby's magazine, Indiv. Investor, had her mug on the cover, with the words "Truth Tellers" as the cover story. The cover byline underneath went something like, "Maria interviews 7 of the most trusted truth-tellers on Wall Street." When I saw it, I actually thought the magazine was National Lampoon...surely the words "truth-tellers" and "Maria" couldn't be taken seriously. For someone like Maria, who's given so much credence to some of Wall Street's biggest bag-artists, it was comical. It was only after I had thumbed through the magazine and couldn't find the "O.C. and Stiggs" monthly feature, that I looked at the cover again and saw it was Individual Investor and not National Lampoon or The Onion.
