If Trumka is indicted, it would follow that Terry McAuliffe would get indicted. If he gets indicted the Democrat Party might as well retire to the back benches for 8 years.

I think campaign finance reform is a non starter. Dems in Congress are less enthusiastic about it now that they understand how it will hurt them. That leaves the media and John McCain in favor of it. Not a winning coalition, imo.
